La Rutina

La rutina è un bioflavonoide diffuso nelle foglie, nelle infiorescenze e nei frutti e presenta interessanti proprietà antitumorali, antinfiammatorie, cardioprotettive, vasoprotettiva, ed anticancro.

La Rutina abbonda nelle verdure, ed in particolare nelle foglie maggiormente esposte alla luce solare perché serve alla pianta per proteggersi dalle radiazioni ultraviolette del sole.

Più le parti verdi delle piante sono esposte alla luce solare, maggiore sarà la produzione di rutina.

Le piante contenenti grandi quantità di rutina sono:

  1. La Ruta (circa 86 mg/g di rutina)
  2. Il Rosmarino (circa 34 mg/g di rutina)
  3. La Salvia (circa 14 mg/g di rutina)
  4. Il Grano saraceno (circa 54 mg/g di rutina)
  5. Asparagi, peperone rosso, ciliegie, mele, agrumi

La rutina ingerita, viene assorbita lentamente nell’intestino tenue; La rutina che giunge nell’ultimo tratto dell’intestino viene trasformato dai batteri del colon in acido Fenilacetico ed assorbito nel sangue; L’acido Fenilacetico mostra interessanti proprietà antinfiammatorie al pari della Rutina stessa.

Senza dilungarmi molto nei meccanismi nutraceutici della rutina, elenco brevemente gli effetti benefici di questo straordinario bioflavonoide:

La Rutina ha le seguenti proprietà nutraceutiche:

  • Antiossidante (attiva il complesso KEAP-1/NRF-2)
  • Antinfiammatorio (spegne NF-KB)
  • la rutina può contribuire al pari del curcuma, ad alleviare i processi infiammatori a carico delle articolazioni.
  • Antiallergico in quanto frena il rilascio di istamina da parte dei mastociti e basofili.
  • La rutina è antiasmatico
  • la rutina sembra attenuare la riinite allergica
  • La rutina se applicata sulla pelle può migliorare alcune infiamazioni cutanee
  • protegge l’occhio e la retina dalle cataratta, dalle maculopatie e dal glaucoma
  • protegge i vasi sanguigni, rinforzandoli “utile quindi per contrastare la fragilità capillare”
  • Protegge dall’arteriosclerosi
  • Inibisce la formazione di Trombi nelle arterie perché impedisce l’aggregazione piastrinica
  • Inibisce la formazione di trombi nelle vene, perché riduce la produzione di fibrina ( Nota bene! Dovete sapere che i coaguli che avvengono nlle arterie dipende dalla agregazione piastrinica, mentre i coaguli che si formano nelle vene delle gambe dipende dalla formazione di fibrina)
  • Migliora la tolleranza al glucosio “azione antidiabetica”
  • La rutina aiuta ad abbassare la pressione (inibisce l’enzima ACE)
  • La rutina è uno dei pochi bioflavonoidi che riesce ad attraversare la membrana ematoencefalica proteggendo il cervello dall’infiammazione e dai radicali liberi.
  • La rutina è utile per contrastare l’Alzheimer e la demenza
  • La rutina sembra essere utile per curare il Morbo di Parkinson; (Nel Morbo di Parkinson ce una carenza di dopamina; La rutina è in grado di stimolare l’espressione genica di una idrossilasi cerebrale che permette la formazione della dopammina per idrossilazione)
  • La Rutina si è dimostrata essere su cavie di laboratorio e linee cellulari, essere efficace per curare alcune forme tumorali del cervello.
  • La rutina sembra essere efficace sugli animali pe combattare alcuni tipi di tumore al seno, alla prostata, all’intestino, rene, polmone.
  • Inibisce un fattore di crescita endoteliale “il VEGF”
