Praticamente nel rene sono espressi i recettori MR per l’ormone ALDOSTERONE; MR viene attivato sia dall’aldosterone e sia dal cortisolo e dai glucocorticoidi; MR quando viene attivato, determina ritenzione idrica, riassorbimento del sodio e innalzamento della pressione; Quindi se ce un eccesso di stress nell’organismo e quindi un abbondante presenza di cortisolo, quest’ultimo si lega ai recettori MR presenti sul rene e fa IMPENNARE LA PRESSIONE ARTERIOSA e LA RITENZIONE IDRICA. Fortunatamente vicono ai recettori del rene, viene espresso l’enzima 11-beta-HSD2 che trasforma il CORTISOLO attivo in CORTISONE inattivo, prevenendo l’Ipertensione e la ritenzione idrica; Ora che succede se io Mi abbuffo di Liquirizia?
Succede che la glicirizina della liquirizia va ad inibire l’enzima renale 11-beta-HSD2, favorendo un eccesso di CORTISOLO che legandosi ai recettori MR dei mineralcorticoidi induce forte RITENZIONE IDRICA E PRESSIONE ARTERIOSA ALTISSIMA. Ecco perchè la Liquirizia è Pericolosa ed è cattiva

L’uso della liquirizia in questo caso, inibendo la 11-betaHSD1, favorisce la perdita di peso, il calo della glicemia…quindi è una buona cosa….MA ATTENTI! BLOCCA ANCHE LA 11-BETA-HSD2 nel rene, FAVORENDO L’IPERTENSIONE E LA RITENZIONE IDRICA.
Pertanto, chi ha problemi cardiovascolari, deve fare attenzione ad usare la liquirizia, perchè pure se utile alla riduzione del peso ed al miglioramento della glicemia, vi espone al pericolosissimo pericolo dell’Ipertensione arteriosa e della ritenzione idrica, perchè il recettore MR dell’aldosterone non viene protetto dall’azione del cortisolo da parte della 11-beta-HSD2 RENALE.
